Chat GPT confirmed that such a destructive scenario was not entirely impossible. If this technology goes wrong, it can go quite wrong. It has the potential for civilizational destruction. If it were up to you, do you think that is real? Is it conceivable that AI could take control and reach a point where you could not turn it off and it would be making decisions for people? History is truly at a turning point.

AI is teaching the machine, and the machine is becoming smart. AI will solve all the problems that we have today: the housing crisis, cancer, poverty, climate change, mental health, democracy, universal basic income, and a bunch of diseases. But it will also create new problems. Each time we create a more powerful technology, we create a bigger lever for changing the world. The problem of fake news is going to be a million times worse.

How will you know whom to trust? Cyberattacks will become much more extreme. With the click of a button, you can bring nations to their knees. We will have totally automated AI weapons. If a human being is in the loop, you will lose. If you try to intervene, you are going to lose. You have an incredible amount of power. Artificial intelligence is the buzzword of the decade. From self-driving cars and talking robots to clever chatbots that can write your essays in seconds, it all sounds exciting. But behind its promises of convenience and progress lies a grave danger—one that affects us all.

AI is not just a shiny tool of convenience. It is the perfect weapon: a weapon being quietly sharpened by the same powerful hands that already control the banks, the economy, the narrative, and even your beliefs. While the world is distracted by AI toys, something much bigger and much darker is happening behind the scenes. That is why we should take a closer look at how they are doing it and why we should all be concerned. The race for AI dominance is a race to the bottom for safety.

These companies actually need to be thought of as new forms of empire: surveillance capitalism and the AI warlords. It is prolegarchy. Capitalism is dead. Welcome to techno-feudalism. Not long ago, watching a video was enough evidence to know whether something had happened or not. A median of 72% of adults across 25 nations consider the spread of false information online to be a major threat to their country.

Until recently, when an image of an explosion at the Pentagon sent shivers through the stock market. Before the world realized it, the image was exposed as a fake. There was no explosion at the Pentagon. It was created using, you guessed it, artificial intelligence. Creating fake content is now easier than ever. A machine learns a face, learns a voice, and learns cadence. With a few lines of code, it creates a scene that never happened. I would like to welcome you to the era of synthetic reality.

Less than 0.1% of people can accurately identify a deepfake, contributing to a massive surge in AI-driven fraud and misinformation worldwide. This is how AI and VFX are unlocking the future of our imagination. How will you know whom to trust? Fake videos called deepfakes can make it look as though anyone said or did anything. Imagine a leader declaring war on camera—a clip that spreads faster than corrections can follow—or a religious figure insulting millions. Entire nations could be manipulated before the truth has a chance to surface.

Mass Data Mining, Algorithmic Control, and Surveillance Infrastructure

We will have systems that can meaningfully imitate humans to the point where we will no longer be able to tell whether something was said by a human or by a computer. Hidden forces quietly exploit what we see and hear, bending reality just enough to create doubt and uncertainty. Soon, even the things we trust the most can be twisted. Since content can now be manufactured faster than it can be verified, information has become a battlefield. Whoever controls the channels that distribute it controls the story.

How you use your phone, what you watch on television, what you post on social media, and even the way you act in public when a CCTV camera is nearby—all of it is data. It is data collected about you: what you say, where you go, and even how you feel. Imagine a world where the local police department has access to data of all kinds, which it already does. We are talking about biometric data in general. That means your face, your voice, even your movements, and this type of record. If I am in a park, what I do not want is for my government to recognize, in real time, who I am, whom I am with, at what time, and what I am doing. We are innocent people. We have done nothing wrong.

AI basically runs on data and is fueled by data. The more data it receives, the better it works. This data is then analyzed by artificial intelligence to accurately predict how you behave, often before you know what you will do next. The concerning element here is that this could be used by governments or private actors to track individuals without consent, infringe upon their privacy rights, establish a mass-surveillance system, and wrongfully identify people. In some countries, these predictions already decide whether you can travel, obtain a loan, or even apply for a job.

A digital trust-score system is in place to decide for humans, powered by AI, of course. For example, in a pathetic country, the government deploys an AI-driven social-scoring system that can monitor citizens’ online behavior, financial transactions, and whether they have ever complained about their government.

People are now being blacklisted from the entire ecosystem of the world because AI is running these super-complex algorithms that censor people on a massive scale. It becomes so extreme that, in certain places in Shanghai, if you want to walk on the sidewalk, you are allowed to walk in only one direction. If you walk in the opposite direction, they scan your face and deduct money from your bank account. If you do not have money in your bank account, points are removed from your social credit score. What they are doing is massive surveillance and massive control.

Have you ever wondered why your phone lights up with a notification the moment you walk into your room? Have you ever wondered how the perfect television show appears in your recommendations the moment you turn on your television? They gather everything about your thoughts, desires, dreams, friends, what you are thinking, and even your private thoughts. Even the first reel you see on Instagram is somehow exactly about what you were discussing with your friend only a few minutes ago. That is true power. Their entire business is basically mining the data of your life, and it is quite scary how AI does it.

Everywhere you go, you generate a cloud of data. You are trailing data. Everything you do produces data, and computers are looking at and learning from it. These computers are essentially trying to serve you better. They are trying to personalize things for you. They are trying to adapt the world to you. On the one hand, this is great because the world will adapt to you without requiring you to explicitly adapt it yourself. There is also a danger because the entities and companies controlling those algorithms do not necessarily have the same goals as you.

These platforms are designed to hook you by using advanced AI algorithms that learn every little detail about you and discover exactly what makes you laugh, what makes you angry, and what keeps you awake at 2 a.m., scrolling. What is it that really gives you a pulse? The system then feeds you more and more of it.  Every single free moment you have is a moment you could spend looking at your phone, allowing companies to gather information and target advertisements at you.

Put simply, every extra second you spend online means more advertisements, more revenue, and, most importantly, more data. By keeping you glued to your screen, these systems quietly draw your focus away from what truly matters and replace it with endless consumption and empty achievements. But this is just the beginning. With the rise of even more intelligent algorithms, we will see things become much, much darker than we can imagine.

Autonomous Militarization, Labor Automation, and Economic Inequality

We have seen autonomous cars, robotic surgeons, and warehouse machines operating entirely on their own. Now we have autonomous weapons—something just as terrifying as nuclear bombs. If a human being is in the loop, you will lose. You can have human supervision. You can watch over what the AI is doing. But if you try to intervene, you are going to lose. AI-controlled drones, missiles, battlefield robots, and autonomous weapons can act without human coordination. They can identify, track, and kill as they will, serving the interests of only a handful of powerful people who decide who lives and who dies within seconds, based solely on patterns and algorithms.

Executives from Open AI, Palantir, and Meta are on a mission, swapping their C-suite offices for military bases with the goal of bringing some much-needed technological upgrades to the Army. On occasion, they can easily take hundreds of thousands of precious, innocent lives based on only a few reckless orders from people who are just as heartless and soulless as the machines they are sending. Israel has responded with fury, with fighter jets taking aim at targets in the Palestinian territory. More than 10,000 people have been killed since this conflict began—all for the sake of profit.

War profiteers always win. Regardless of the outcome, there always needs to be another threat on the horizon. They profit from every bullet and every bomb dropped on those babies. While humans argue for profit, subtle influences are at work, guiding decisions, magnifying harm, and making the world more ready for deception and chaos. Generations before us thought that future wars would be fought with toxic chemicals and infectious germs. They thought our landscapes would be littered with unexploded landmines.

Jobs, one by one, lost. Unemployment. From truck drivers and cashiers to writers, doctors, and creatives, careers built over decades will be gone just like that. For us, this means fewer jobs and massive unemployment. But for the wealthy individuals who own these systems, it means more profit than ever.

The AI giants want to paint a rosier picture because they are happily making money, so they prefer not to talk about the negative side. The result is a massive class divide, widening faster than ever between a tiny group of AI owners and everyone else. Many factors are driving inequality today, and unfortunately, artificial intelligence, if we are not thoughtful about it, is a driver of increased inequality. Put simply, the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer.

It may not be specifically related to AI, but AI will exacerbate it. That, I think, will tear society apart because the rich will have too much, while those who have little may have almost no way of digging themselves out of the hole. Extreme poverty and desperation are not accidents. They are tools used to make people follow whoever promises relief.

When the ultimate deceiver rises, appearing to be the only source of wealth, people will run to him out of hunger and fear. But why does it have to be like this? The answer is simple. The machine does not rest. It does not complain. It works faster than any human, and it can replace an entire department at a fraction of the cost. In the end, only a few will profit, while the rest of us are left behind to fall.

AI is often praised as objective and neutral, but in reality, it is only as fair as the data on which it is trained. In certain situations, involving hiring, policing, or even arrests, artificial intelligence is made to choose based on preserved data, and that data is biased. Chinese authorities are, without any legal basis, arbitrarily detaining up to a million Turkic Muslims simply on the basis of their identity. Even outside the facilities in which these people are being held, most of the population is being subjected to extraordinary levels of high-tech surveillance, so almost no aspect of life takes place outside the state’s line of sight.

This is not just technology failing. It is society failing through technology. AI may seem neutral, but it carries the weight of intentions, twisting what is fair and true to serve hidden agendas. While the world sees convenience, efficiency, and progress, the cracks grow deeper and inequalities become sharper. This is where it becomes truly dangerous.

Subversion of Faith, Digital Dystopia, and Systemic Compliance

The most chilling front of this new war is not on the battlefield. It is in the hearts and minds of believers. We are going to see AI changing even things like religion. How? At least religions based on texts, such as Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, give ultimate authority to the text, not to any human being. What happens when you have an AI text that can speak for itself, talk back to you, and explain and defend its views?

Today, machines are answering questions about faith. Muslims, Christians, Jews, and people everywhere are turning to AI for fatwas, sermons, and even spiritual advice. The truth is that these AIs are not built by scholars. They are tools built by secular corporations—companies that openly filter anything that challenges their values. As we have explained, these AIs are biased. Ask them anything about faith, morality, or modesty, and you will receive very cautious, filtered answers. But ask them about ideologies that align with modern liberal values, and they will speak with confidence and passion. The double standard reveals everything.

These systems do not seek truth. They serve the narratives of those who built them. Yet online influencers across the Muslim world proudly showcase AI answers to complex religious matters. To their audiences, it feels modern, safe, and cool. But in reality, it is very dangerous because it gives viewers the impression that AI is a trustworthy authority for answering religious questions. It slowly makes them trust machines over sacred texts or human scholars.

A knowledgeable person may still navigate these tools carefully. But for the ordinary believer, a single misleading answer can shape an entire belief. Iblis swore that he would lead mankind astray from every direction. What better way could there be to do that than through a tool that appears neutral but is programmed by men who deny revelation and guided by algorithms built on secular desires? Such a tool can make the believer question his scholars, doubt his scripture, and accept the whisper of a machine over the word of God.

The digital ID, the digital currency, and the AI dystopia agenda—the idea is that you become docile. You simply obey. You become an automaton. That is the idea.The stage is being set for something much bigger: a world so addicted, controlled, and blinded that, when the final deception arrives, society will not stand a chance. We are no longer dealing with a simple tool. This is unlike any advancement in history. It is shaping how we think, what we see, and even what we believe. It decides what information reaches us and what voices are silenced. Quietly, it is training us to obey the machine instead of questioning it.

Conclusion

This is exactly how the ground is being prepared for the great liar, the Dajjal. The ultimate level of human control concerns our very perception of the world in which we are living. First, you give people phones. Then you give them smartphones. Then you move to technology on the body. Next, it goes inside the body. The other side of it is what they call the cloud. Through the medium of this cloud, they will connect to this self-replicating nanotechnology in the body. It will control what you think.

Artificial intelligence becomes the human mind. That is the goal. This is no accident. Iblis vowed to attack us from every direction, every angle, and every device. Every new innovation is another doorway for his whispers. That is why the time to wake up is now. What is going to happen to us all tomorrow? Who is going to be in charge: machines or men?

The rise of algorithmic manipulation, synthetic reality, and digital control is a reminder of a core spiritual mandate from an Islamic perspective: the responsibility to rigorously verify and critically discern before believing or sharing unverified claims. When technology is designed to produce deepfakes, distort reality, and engineer public consensus, believers are explicitly told not to accept unverified narratives or surrender their intellectual and spiritual agency to unvetted digital sources.

Surah Al-Hujurat provides the ultimate ethical framework for navigating an era of digital misinformation: "O believers! If an unrighteous person brings you any news, verify it ˹first˺, lest you harm a people in ignorance, and afterwards become regretful for what you have done" (Holy Quran 49:6).

It is a spiritual imperative to protect one’s mind against automated propaganda, to protect traditional Islamic scholarship from the corporate AI outputs, and to refuse to become passive automatons. Real guidance must always come from divine revelation, not the manufactured murmurs of algorithmic machines.
