Disclaimer: God Almighty being my witness, I solemnly swear the following poetic script features zero use of AI.

  • Before you try to change the world, change your thinking

  • Dressed like a cross between a porcupine and an Oompa Lampa, Gen Z and Gen Alpha have a weird sense of dressing

  • To quote Fyodor Dostoevsky, your greatest sin is that you have betrayed and destroyed yourself for nothing

  • What do you think is the percentage of your life that you are really in charge of, approximately speaking?

  • Perfect opening day for Sportsfest at City School Muslim Towm marred by a fight in the evening

  • Dimagh ki batti shaat na karo – set hai us ki fielding

  • Calling that shawarma guy at Sportsfest was one of the great moments – truly momentum defining

  • Hard work for the volunteers; its like bowling on a flat pitch with no roughs appearing

  • Fellas referring to each other as n***or EC group; open season on racism and name calling

  • Limits matter after all; there’s a fine line between ragging and fooling

  • Sometimes, I wanna migrate to the countryside with no hustling

  • Life was simple two decades ago when weekends meant watching Lion King

  • You win some, you lose some; it’s a 50/50 thing

  • General complaint at Sportsfest is that participants and organisers should be more spot-on with their timing

  • Stepping out of the air-conditioned room, hazy glasses definitely need some cleaning

  • To hell with Darwin’s theory of evolution; its time for some arm wrestling

  • When asked about the one thing they would do on campus that they could get away with, majority of the Sportsfest participants talked about killing

  • Reading different types of waste; meanwhile the filter unit at the back side of HM office is malfunctioning

  • Apparently, delegates need some fine tuning when it comes to improving their listening

  • Interviewing Hafsah at the event (an unorthodox, private O’Levels nerd) at the event was truly a blessing

  • Great fires offer only a few moments of respite – secret lies in the timing

  • Mystics have said that out goal on Earth is not to summit to a metaphysical mountain of spirituality, but rather to return to our original childlike state of fitra and purity

  • Just as finding a hole in a leaking bucket is a blessing, because it shows us what needs to be patched, Satan’s hearts show us where our hearts are not in alignment with God; it’s a divine mercy

  • It is in experiencing distance from God that we begin to see the priceless blessing of divine proximity

  • Sins can veil our perception of our inner goodness just as clouds can alter our experience of the sunlight’s intensity

  • The rose felt the encouragement of the light against its being; hence, it opened its heart and gave to the world all its beauty

  • We are like photographs; our faith is developed in the dark room of the trials we face with the catalyst for self-discovery and growth being life’s difficulty

  • Distance between our head and heart is approximately 18 inches, but it is the longest journey we will ever take spiritually

  • When the divinely aligned heart is the king of the body and mind is his servant, the soul resides in peace and harmony

  • Happy to see JT and other school delegations featuring middle school students; signs are indeed promising

  • Which was better; Trinity MUN or Sportsfest? Sometimes, we can’t resist comparing

  • Middle finger in action – fighting over the appointment of ludo co-head; am so done with this petty fussing

  • Proud of Ehtisham and co for hi-octane crisis solving

  • Music sir cursing students for destroying the mics, meanwhile, everyone is excited about scavenger hunting

  • Badminton matches postponed on account of futsal; could surely work on the scheduling

  • Kids featuring at Cairo Crunch – don’t wanna share food; sharing is caring

  • Fellas vaping on campus; a lot of pods there for confiscating

  • Spiral and AB French fries taste delicious with slushes also doing some slushing

  • When asked about life regrets, one participant talked about betrayals and the need to stop trusting

  • Couple of sportsfest participants wanted to be at home instead, alternating between binge-watching The Mentalist and studying

  • The phadda was the perfect unplanned social for Friday evening

  • Never let go of your inner child while watching the iconic duel between Walter White and Gus Fring

  • Illuminating ‘O3’ Einsteins on ac generators, dc motors and specific heat capacity

  • A dirty window changes the view, not the world outside silly

  • Cheap chargers destroy phones, just like cheap people destroy standards slowly

  • Humans invented mirrors but later used filters because mirrors projected way too much honesty

  • Normal distribution has immense applications in financial and risk management, such as stock returns, asset prices and portfolio validity

  • It teaches us the acceptance of extremes and the danger of assuming normality

  • Not to mention the fact that order emerges from chaos as well as the beauty of central tendency

  • Its not a loop; it’s a spiral; wouldst thou like to live deliciously?

  • Eviscerating captivity of negativity in a sunlit village while resting underneath a Mango tree

  • Imagining golden fields of corn, wheat and mustard blooming, I want to teleport myself to the 15th century

  • I would be a gazillionaire If I got a dollar every time, I wanted to bludgeon some whack job motorcyclist in Lahore for coming the wrong way without offering an apology

  • Haunted by the desire for a different fate, books spread across the kitchen table, reading them out loud, blending knowledge with fantasy

  • Theres nothing to fear but fear itself, scared to close your eyes, scared to open them buddy

  • Over a passage of time, your life starts to mirror that of a butler with endless chores and responsibilities

  • The once-charming prince becomes more like a giant from his childhood tales as the magic begins to fade slowly

  • Losing sleep after watching ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’, dreaming of being chased by Freddy

  • We stopped looking for monsters underneath our bed the moment we realized that they were living inside us most definitely

  • We can’t raise the white flag; the greatest fairytale is the one you write for yourself homey

  • In the end, we will all be judged: I cant lie to you about your chances, but you have my empathy

  • Welcome to the world of stories; we need some intriguing storytelling

  • Seeing Sir Nafees refereeing at Futsal match reminded me of Zidane’s headbutt in the Fifa World Cup Final; truly heartbreaking

  • Forest Music station at CSMT ground eerily strikes me as a venue for witchcraft rituals with Baal and Bellial Dajjal slam-dunking

  • Appreciation matters; seeing the boards for stars and employees of the month is truly delighting

  • Dear students, save water and trees, use paper bags, the world could honestly use more recycling

  • Miss the good old days when life priorities just amounted to having a place to sleep, a toothbrush, soft toys and clothing

  • Reading stories in kindergarten like the three wishes, wild swans, steadfast tin solder and three billy goats guff; they were truly interesting

  • Late Saturday night, story room looks like a garbage chute with the filth sprawling

  • Shawarma packets and empty water next bottles and cold coffee cups everywhere; my OCD is making me tripping

  • Doorbell ding dongs. I hear crying; maybe, I am dreaming

  • Caution! Caution! One meter pizza box has arrived in ICT lab, a feast right there for the devouring

  • I want to relax in a 98-storey treehouse while the demons in the Sportsfest loudspeaker are blasting

  • I am not poony, don’t call me floppy, that shirt is so badly pressed, so done with these kids and their wailing

  • Coffee is tasteless, hate these bossy pants; geez, why can’t people stop complaining?

  • Deliveries don’t usually come late on a school night. They don’t come in a speedy car and they definitely don’t sit crying

  • Lawn mover rumbles as I mow the lawn

  • Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph, must always be switched on

  • Guess the night is darkest before dawn

  • So wanna take a sabbatical at Mandarin’s kitchen and eat those prawns

  • Hate it when you call your buddy from a new number and he says kon

  • Must practice optimism for a living; absolutely idealize Jim Ron

  • That brute of an inswinger was one of the great deliveries to Muhammad Yousaf by Irfan Pathan

  • Noone prepared me for coming in the 30s – lifestyle fully resembles that of a cyborg or automaton

  • Watching Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and relishing the trajectory of Metatron

  • Always envisioned the swag of a leopard but ended up relating more with the Black Swan

  • Illumination is when a wave realizes that it is the ocean; gotta pick up the pen and put down the baton

  • CMST kids waiting for Valentine’s Day to write love letters

  • Lots of shipments plus the confession pages are foaming to the brim with rumors

  • Question marks raised over ‘normal’ interactions between opposite genders

  • Campus peace plagued on account of intrusions by outsiders

  • Students complaining about fake friends and traumatizing experiences with their seniors

  • Campus boasts of egoistic tussles, often resembling the battleground of Mordor

  • Sir Shoaib playing the role of the Good Samaritan and intervening to diffuse the fight and restore some semblance of order

  • Hollywood is indeed the Devil’s industry; beware of the New World Order

  • Heading to DHA Head Office for the plantation activity, planning the World Peace Day as well as the anti-bullying procedure

  • It takes two to tango; let the divine perpetual bliss take over

  • Company of the righteous makes you righteous and company of the corrupt makes you corrupt to quote our pious predecessors

  • Sportsfests, IT hackathons and art galas being conducted by schools college and universities routinely

  • Ironically, we have yet to produce the next Imran Khan, Kamran Abdus Salam or Gulji

  • Exploring theory of multiple intelligence and wondering which strategy of Islam aligns with Maslow hierarchy

  • Call me a pragmatic with an OCD for castigating the bureaucratic filth, but we seriously need to step up our educational philosophy

  • The rudimentary education most children achieve nowadays is simply not sufficient enough to get them their desired salaries

  • Watching Bay Harbor Butcher go ballistic on the Ice Truck Killer generates some funky ideas, starring me and Asif Ali Zardari

  • 80~85% of the country’s IT graduates deemed unemployable in a recent survey; to hell with CLO/PLO fraud and revised Bloom’s taxonomy

  • Everything we have in this world from satellites to skyscrapers to baby food is just an idea acted upon; start your mental engine mechanistically

  • Rana Sanaullah looks like a combo of Lady Gaga’s regrets and a shriveled onion

  • Some people also consider Australia and the Malay Archipelago to be Oceanian

  • Life balances out with its roller-coaster trajectory; out for a duck in the first innings whereas in second, you become a centurion

  • Glad to be done with those bureaucratic scumbags; can retire with blissful memories of the alma mater while looking to savor the alumni reunion

  • Noah’s ark was built by an old prophet in the desert, and it survived the flood that drowned the word whereas Titanic sunk on its first voyage – cant challenge God in his dominion

  • Life is not only about reaching Heaven after you die. It is about dwelling in palace of God’s eternal presence while you are living instead of being Satan’s minion

  • Revolutionary scientific studies performed at University of Helsinki in Finland have shown that DNA can be repaired through frequency and vibration, validating popular opinion

  • A single drop of water is seemingly powerless, but many drops together can create a current strong enough to carve stones as magnificent as the Grand Canyon

  • Boys emulating the homosexual nation of Lot in the Story room and appearing a touch uncouth

  • American hospitals add excess charges and erroneous amounts on 99% of their invoices; no wonder, things are going south

  • Meanwhile the ac’s flop show continues with the ICT lab being hotter than a crack ho’s mouth

  • Just like cricket, you get only one shot at life and have to gather ye rosebuds while ye may before you get out

  • Overwhelmed to see deliberate masses cheating for their own gain; need to retire and go back to fishing for trout

  • Mashrab and Ehtisham have been phenomenal and a profound blessing and revelation for us, give them a loving shout

  • The Holy Quran in Mecca symbolizes the fact that the road that leads to God is full of self-sacrifices and struggles and is a difficult route

  • Students getting pumped at the most minor thing; suffering from an insane bout

  • They say life is short, enjoy it but don’t tell you that Hereafter is long; prepare for it; indeed, the promise of God is the truth without any doubt

  • Sometimes, life makes you cross a snake pit, trudge through a haunted castle and lurch around a roller coaster

  • CSMT has its fair share of rough-and-tumble, spiky-haired, hole-at-the-knee tumble boys calling themselves brother from another mother

  • Drawing their imaginary cutlasses like pirates operating in the deep waters

  • Back pain is on the rise; gotta work on my posture

  • The Lord is our shepherd, and he will guide us through the pasture

  • We borrow the Earth from our children rather than just inheriting it from our ancestors

  • Ecstatic to see teachers like Mam Hina Meer and Mam Soha mentoring little explorers

  • Each day is a new trip full of discovery with amazing tiny passengers

  • If you won over each and every Tom, Dick and Harry, but you couldn’t please God, what did you really achieve at life’s critical juncture?

  • Indeed, Hell lies in wait for the criminals, a place of ambush for those who deny the truth; Chapter 78, Verse 21 of the Holy Scripture

  • Sometimes, the greatest tragedy is not divorce; its remaining in a marriage that destroys your ability to fulfill the right of God and one another

  • Gotta grind your way through; if you don’t build now, later becomes harder

  • Sometimes, your enemies cant swim, hence God takes you through troubled waters

  • Behind every problem is a rational solution; glad to be a chemical engineer

  • Teach your children to keep their promises, to treat everyone with respect, show gratitude daily and be kind to animals and nature

  • Not to mention being generous, making time for family, valuing time and keeping calm under pressure

  • Rejection means try again or go for a different route or procedure

  • CSMT lit by Qawwali night like a force of nature

  • Hope this event enables it to venture into uncharted territory in Lahore and augment its stature

  • Experiencing loneliness in a hyperconnected world, courtesy of social media, individualism and career pressure

  • People use filters on social media because they project less bitter honesty as opposed to mirrors

  • Anmol Pinky case serves as a timely reminder that a society which turns away from divine accountability will inevitably taste bitter fruit of spiritual bankruptcy, internal chaos and disorder

  • Jennifer Lopez releases ‘Aint’ Your Mama’ song in 2016, backed by ‘Free the Nipple’ movement, spearheaded by Miley

  • During 2nd wave of feminism, Gloria Steinem (founder of Miss Magazine) said to NY times that CIA’s biggest mistake was not supplanting it with private funds quickly

  • Kate Miller wrote ‘Sexual Politics’ and framed marriage as a form of oppression in the 1970s

  • Betty Friedan called home a comfortable concentration camp while Simone labelled motherhood a trap – someone save us from this Devilry

  • You would expect feminism to uplift women’s contentment levels yet in 2009, National Bureau of Economics published ‘Paradox of Declining Female Happiness’ surprisingly

  • The icing on the cake is that hocus pocus regularly features in our country’s university curricula for gender studies

  • Jennifer Lopez divorced Ben Affleck; said loneliness has been her biggest companion; fair to say that feminism is an imported ideology

  • Independence often arrives quietly not as a thunderclap, but as a small doorway you step through unknowingly

  • Super Duper Proud of the EC, fellow teachers, admin and staff members for ensuring the phenomenal success of the MTC Sportsfest and giving us a lovely weekend making us relish life splendidly

  • Super proud of you all my dear students; cheers for the exquisite memories

  • May the Good Lord confer an array of swashbuckling blessings upon all of you; God bless CSMT fraternity
